1/19/22 Sports Update (New York City, NY) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves scored in the final thirty-seconds to beat the New York Knicks 112-110 at Madison Square Garden. Karl-Anthony Towns hit a layup and a free throw to put the Wolves up 111-109 with 29-point-three seconds left in regulation. Knicks guard Alec Burks missed a go-ahead three at the buzzer a couple of possessions later to seal the deal for Minnesota. 1/13/22 Sports Update (St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Wild are getting healthier. Kirill Kaprizov returned to practice yesterday after suffering an upper body injury when he was hit by Trent Frederic in a game against the Bruins on January 6th. Dean Evason says that Kaprizov should be back in the lineup on Friday, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Joel Eriksson Ek and Jordan Greenway might also return to the ice tomorrow.
