(New Prague, MN) — Leaders at New Prague High School are apologizing for two separate racist incidents involving two different schools and sports. St. Louis Park High School’s athletic director Andrew Ewald sent a letter to his counterpart at New Prague saying they will no longer compete in any sports with the school. Ewald says New Prague hockey players allegedly called a St. Louis Park player a monkey and used other racist slurs during a February 15th game. St. Louis Park officials say a coach from Cooper High School girls basketball team has reported racist taunts from the stands at New Prague during a game the same day. New Prague officials promise a full investigation and swift action.
