(Minneapolis, MN) — An ex-Hennepin County probation officer is on trial this week for her alleged role in the murder of a Minneapolis real estate agent. Elsa Segura faces several charges including aiding and abetting premeditated murder and aiding and abetting kidnapping. Prosecutors say the 29-year-old defendant called real estate agent Monique Baugh to lure her to a fake home showing in Maple Grove. The victim was kidnapped, tortured, and killed by two other defendants. Segura’s trial is expected to last into next week.
