The area could start seeing more rain in the near future. The National Weather Service says eastern Minnesota has a 40 to 50 percent chance to see above normal rainfall for the last week of August. This comes as nearly the entire state is under some form of drought, with the worst drought conditions in northern and central Minnesota.
