(Faribault County, MN) — A Des Moines boy is dead after a southern Minnesota crash late last night. The Minnesota State Patrol says 48-year-old Kyle Backhaus of Des Moines, lost control of his pick-up on Interstate-90 in Faribault [[ FAIR-ih-bow ]] County. A 12-year-old boy in the truck died in the crash. Backhaus is hospitalized.
