(St. Paul, MN) — The City of St. Paul is not putting on a 4th of July fireworks display this year. The mayor’s office says the city’s 2021 budget did not leave room for fireworks. Fireworks in St. Paul have been canceled since 2018 either due to financial issues or the COVID-19 pandemic. Minneapolis and Stillwater also canceled their own 4th of July festivities.
