FBI officials say a Minnesota man has been federally charged for stealing 63 golf carts across seven states. Nathan Nelson is accused stealing the carts from clubhouses beginning in 2017, and using a fake name to store them in rental units. He was arrested in Georgia this month and is facing counts of transporting stolen vehicles across state lines. Prosecutors say they investigated Nelson for possible golf cart thefts from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Louisiana, totaling about 283-thousand dollars.
