Students and staff will not need to get the COVID-19 vaccine in order to be on St. Thomas University’s campus. Yesterday, school officials sent out an email strongly encouraging but not mandating everyone to get vaccinated. As the fall semester begins, the university will promote several programs to get a vaccine. Some activities, like studying abroad, will require vaccination. Also, the university will require students and staff to confidentially report their vaccination status before the semester starts.
