A Moorhead man has been federally charged in connection to the shooting death of a six-year-old boy.  The U.S. Attorney’s office in Minnesota says Phillip Jones Jr. is facing a charge of illegal possession of a firearm as a previous conviction prohibited him from buying or having a gun.  That gun was used in the accidental shooting of a boy on March 21st when no adults were present.  DNA collected from the gun reportedly matched Jones’.
