Students and others on Facebook or other social media platforms are sharing their senior portraits to support the graduating class of 2021. It seems harmless and fun, but the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota says it can leave you vulnerable to scams.

“Our high school name, graduation year, the city that you grew up in, and if they sound familiar, the problem is, that same information is commonly used as passwords or the answers to online security questions.”

The BBB’s Bao Vang says once scammers have that information, it’s very easy for them to steal the identities of their victims.
