Union workers with SEIU Healthcare Minnesota have reportedly voted to ratify the tentative agreement struck with Allina Health.  On Monday, the union representing four-thousand healthcare workers announced that an “overwhelming” amount of members approved the agreement, which was created on May 5th.  Some of the “key gains” promoted in the contract includes a five-percent pay increase over three years, a nine-percent pension increase, and workplace safety improvements among others.  Allina Health officials said they are pleased with the vote.
