The Blue Earth County Library has introduced an additional virtual opportunity. Every month a different guest storyteller shares tales of their life based on a different theme or topic. Patrons log on from their home computers and listen to great stories and are welcome to share some of their own. The next event will be held this Thursday, October 22nd at 8 pm.
On Thursday, we will be joined by Esther Yunkin, RN with a theme of “Career and Changes.” Esther has had a life-long passion for helping others. After 17-years working as an RN in the ER, she was fed up putting short-term band-aids on chronic problems. So she left the emergency department to start holistic health coaching where she helps women reduce chronic pain and regain their energy by connecting the WHOLE woman (mind, body, spirit, diet, environment.)
Esther grew up in Le Sueur, MN and then moved to Alaska saying that Minnesota didn’t have enough snow. She met her husband in Alaska, moved to Montana, and then settled back in rural Minnesota. They homeschool their four boys ages 6, 9, 11, and 13 and Esther has spoken at homeschooling events. As a family they raise a few chickens and a garden full of beautifully green weeds.
Anyone interested in this event should register on the library’s website at beclibrary.org. You will be emailed the Zoom code after registering so you can join in the fun.
