Greater Mankato Growth is investing in a position that will lobby on behalf of the Mankato area with decision makers across the state.

Jonathon Zierdt, President and CEO of Greater Mankato Growth tells KTOE that the organization wants to make sure Mankato gets the attention it deserves as one of the leading metropolitan areas of the state, to be sure they know about Mankato's impact to the state's vitality.

The board approved $390,000 over the next three years for the position.
