FarmFest 2012 opens three weeks from tomorrow at the Gilfillan site near Redwood Falls.

Attendees will have access not only to the latest in farming technology and equipment, but also a full slate of information forums, including the Congressional Candidate’s Forum on August 7. Other forums the first day will include water quality initiatives and their impacts on farmers, and the renewable fuel standard with Senator Al Franken. The August 8 forums feature incumbent U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and her challengers, Kurt Bills and Glen Menze. And on August 9 University of Minnesota President Dr. Eric Kaler will keynote a forum on innovation in agriculture.

KTOE will once again partner with AgStar to broadcast live from the opening day of FarmFest.
