Consumer Reports puts a local hospital in its top ten best in Minnesota for safety. 

More than 100 hospitals around the state were examined and rated by Consumer Reports Magazine, and Mayo Health System in Mankato made number nine on the list for safety. 

The hospital ratings were based on patient surveys as well as data from records.
