November 09, 2012 A hunter died in his deer stand south of Waseca, in a wooded area near 145th Street and 325th Avenues Thursday afternoon. The Waseca County Sheriff's office responded to a call from the man’s wife Thursday afternoon. Sheriff Brad Milbrath tells KTOE News that the victim's wife went to check on him and found the man unresponsive, and it appears the man probably died from a medical condition. An 11-point buck was found, shot to death, nearby. The victim’s name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
