Ben Bailey and Mike Emmers from Sign Pro work with Chris DeLeo of Sid's Signs of New Ulm on Wednesday to tear down the original River Hills Mall sign. Both the main mall entrance sign on the corner of Adams and Minnesota 22 as well as the sign at the west entrance will be replaced next week. The new sign will have the familiar wave at the top (archive photo of original sign, right) but will not have the arch. The mall was built in 1991 which makes the original sign two decades old.
