An administrative appeals official has upheld the Boomtown liquor license suspension. KTOE News spoke with Mankato City Attorney Eileen Wells just after 10:30 this morning and she confirmed that she had just received the decision.

The hearing official, Karen Marty, pointed out that in receiving its liquor license, Guimont Enterprises, DBA Boomtown, agrees that “failure on the part of the applicant to fully comply with the conditions shall constitute cause for suspension, revocation or denial” of the license.

Boomtown can stay open for business during the four day suspension, but cannot sell alcoholic beverages from October 31 through the close of business at 2am November 4. Business will return to normal when Boomtown reopens on November 4.
