The Mankato city streets were the scene of a high speed chase Saturday morning as Police were pulling a 1997 Ford Escort over for speeding on Monks Avenue around 3:00 AM the car sped off reaching speeds of 80 MPH as  officers pursued.

 

The driver, Vincent Alexander Lee, an18 year old from Chaska, MN pulled over at Victory and Hoffman and police made the arrest. Lee is being charged with fleeing in a motor vehicle, which is a felony, obstruction with force, and DWI charges as well.
