The Level 3 sex offender who cut off his GPS ankle bracelet and went on the lam is back in jail.
The Minnesota Department of Corrections reports that George D. McIntosh, Jr. turned himself in at the Le Sueur County Jail early this morning.
The 25 year old McIntosh was released from prison on August 30th and put on intensive supervised release in Waterville, in Le Suer County, beore he remomved the ankle cuff on Monday while he was in Faribault.
DOC statistics show that 97% of Level 3 offenders who become fugitives are apprehended within 72 hours.
