After years of planning the new upscale apartment development overlooking the Minnesota River on the historic Marigold Dairy site is about to become reality. 

North Mankato Mayor Mark Dehen Tells KTOE Radio Mankato News that the developer, Atwood Property Management, has asked the city to schedule them at the October 30th Port Authority Meeting.  Dehen says an evening open house will also be held, and then the city council will consider giving the project a final thumbs-up.  

The Marigold Apartments will be located on the historic site of the Marigold Dairy.   

Atwood Property Management told the Mayor that they are ready to start work on the Marigold Apartments this November, with completion slated for November of 2013.
