Wildfire this morning east of Eagle Lake, just east of 60, off Highway 14. Dry marsh vegetation south 14 burned with sometimes 20 foot flames as wind whipped fire through the marsh.
 
Jeremy Hanks told KTOE News that at midmorning he feared the fire would take his Alpaca barn, but the flames stayed west and south of his ranch. 
 
Firefighters from Eagle Lake, Madison Lake, and Janesville worked for hours to keep the fire from spreading to Hanks' buildings, and another dwelling south of the marsh.
