Mankato Public Schools has announced this year's National Merit semifinalists, from West High School.  Congratulations, and good luck, to Jacob Cownie, Bill Leitch, and Emily Snyder.  

 

Semifinalists advance for an opportunity to win a share of more than #32 million dollars in scholarships. 

 

The three are among 16,000 semifinalists narrowed from a field of one and a half million.  Semi-Finalists are the top scoring students based on SAT and National Merit Scholarship tests.
