There has been a lot of talk and interest in the first of several roundabouts planned for the Mankato area, at Victory Drive and the new stretch of Stadium Road. 

KTOE News spoke with Alan Forsberg, Blue Earth County Public Works Director last week and he said they were getting close, and were waiting for lights that were delayed.  As of yesterday afternoon, late next week is a likely target for the opening.

One of the four legs of the new roundabout will remain closed for three or four weeks beyond the initial opening, as the new stretch of Stadium Road is completed.
