A candidate for the New Ulm City Council was reportedly investigated by the U.S. Secret Service because of a letter he sent to President Barack Obama after losing his Minnesota unemployment.
According to the New Ulm Journal, Ron Larsen, who is running for the Council-at-large seat on the New Ulm City Council, confirmed to the paper that the Secret Service visited him to follow up on "red flag words."
In the letter, according to the Journal, Larsen reportedly wrote: "... I've had this nagging feeling that I was put on Earth for a specific reason... Now I know it was to take down a sitting U.S. President."
