The North Mankato City Council gave itself an extra week to consider the candidates for its open city manager position… and tonight is the night they said they will decide. 

Mayor Mark Dehen told KTOE that there are two candidates who are viewed as particularly strong by both the special committee that reviewed candidates as well as by city staff.

It is expected that the full city council will be prepared to make a decision tonight.
