The national weather service is warning that much of southern Minnesota will see triple digit temperatures today… especially along the I90 corridor... and the DNR puts us at high risk for wild fire danger due to strong winds, low humidity, and dry conditions. 

High Risk for fire danger means fires start quickly and spread and grow rapidly.  

High heat warning today for southern Minnesota… temperatures near 100… especially along the I90 corridor.   The weather conditions coupled with the dryness also puts us at high risk for wild fire danger according to the DNR.   

National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris Franks tells KTOE News that the heat wave will come and go quickly… the weather will cool back down again on Friday.
