(Minneapolis, MN) — Vikings star receiver Adam Thielen is a nominee for a popular NFL off-field honor. The pass catcher is in the running for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Thielen runs the Thielen Foundation, which focuses on youth development and has donated more than two-point-five-million dollars to Twin Cities organizations. The foundation also began a Change-Thru-Sport program in 2020, which renovated the weight room and repaired the stadium lights at Brooklyn Center High School.
