COVID-19 cases are on the uptick in Minnesota. Health officials say infections are above a thousand a day for the first time in two months. The case rate remains well below the peak of 246 per 100-thousand residents in a week ending January 11th. All Minnesota counties are in the CDC’s low risk category. Health officials say the trends suggest people should still take precautions against the virus.
