This Earth Day, the Minnesota Better Business Bureau (BBB) is encouraging people to buy green at the grocery store. Before you hit the supermarket, the BBB’s Bao Vang recommends it’s best to first understand what “organic” means.

“So when you look in shop for specific information on packages and products that explains why the product is getting a green promotion if the product does not include details about what exactly the term means choose another one.”

Vang says shopping for food that’s good for the environment involves deciphering marketing buzzwords and understanding seals and certifications.
