The newest law in Minnesota is allowing millions of dollars to go towards ALS research. The bill was signed into law yesterday by Governor Tim Walz giving twenty-million-dollars in grants from the state for ALS research. The bill also allocates five-million-dollars for caregivers not funded by Medicare. Between four and five-hundred Minnesota residents live with ALS.
