Minnesota lawmakers are inching closer to a deal on legal sports betting.  A second House committee approved a revised plan yesterday.  The new proposal would limit sports betting to only those 21 and older, and would run all bets through the state’s tribes.  That includes any online gambling options.  State Rep. Zach Stephenson, who is driving the plan, says the changes were made to improve the chances for sports betting. Minnesota’s Indian Gaming Association gave its tentative approval to the plan, but said nothing is set in stone just yet.
