(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Large Minnesota companies are facing complex decisions about their ties with Russia.  University of Minnesota business and law professor Paul Vaaler says conversations are happening in board rooms across the state.  Vaaler says Russia has tight connections with Minnesota related to oil and agriculture exports.  Some Minnesota companies balancing profits and public perception are Cargill, General Mills, and ADM.  Companies such as Toro are doing business with both Russia and Ukraine.  Vaaler says he expects more Minnesota companies to cut ties with Russia as the invasion in Ukraine continues.
