(Richfield, MN) — Best Buy officials say they saw a drop in sales and profits over the holiday season. The Richfield-based retailer announced yesterday that profit fell 28 percent and sales were down three percent during November, December, and January. Executives blame the decrease in sales on product shortages and reduced store hours. But they are optimistic that there will be strong growth by 2024.
