Minnesota health officials say the state is emerging from the omicron wave. The weekly average of cases and deaths have declined steadily since the new year. State health leaders are crediting a successful vaccination campaign. Hospitalizations have also begun to dip. Over 56-percent of fully vaccinated Minnesotans have received booster shots against COVID-19.
