A 14-year-old boy is injured after a crash in St. Peter. According to the State Patrol, the accident happened just after 11 yesterday morning. They say a Jeep Wrangler, driven by 31-year-old Courtney Sparks of Fridley, was traveling northbound on Highway 169 when she collided with a northbound Peterbilt semi truck and trailer driven by 41-year-old William Little of Illinois. He was not injured.
The patrol says the unnamed 14-year-old was a passenger in the Jeep. He was taken to the St. Peter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 10-year-old and 7-year-old were also in the Jeep, they were uninjured.
The Patrol says road conditions had snow and ice on them at the time of the crash. All those involved were wearing seatbelts.
