(Stillwater, MN) — The Minnesota state prison at Stillwater continues to be on lockdown after two corrections officers were assaulted and injured during a weekend cell search. A Minnesota Department of Corrections spokeswoman says the officers were attacked during a routine search Saturday afternoon. One officer was treated and released, while the other was “more significantly injured” and was treated and released. The inmate responsible for the assault was moved to the Maximum Security Administrative Control Unit at the Oak Park Heights prison.
