A Gibbon man is injured after the vehicle he was driving struck a tree near St. Peter. According to the State Patrol, 41-year-old Daniel Vallacher was north bound on Highway 22 when he went through the intersection of Highway 169 and struck a tree. The Patrol says he suffered non-life threatening injuries. No alcohol was involved and he was wearing a seatbelt. The Patrol says road conditions were wet at the time of the crash. It happened yesterday morning just after 8 a.m.
