(Minneapolis, MN)  —  The families of Black men killed by Minnesota police officers are demanding justice for Amir Locke.  Mothers and other members of Families Supporting Families Against Police Violence spoke out yesterday, showing the connection between their grief and the grief of Locke’s family.  The 22-year-old was shot to death by a Minneapolis police officer during a no-knock search warrant raid last week.  Thousands around the Twin Cities have marched and protested following the death of Locke, who wasn’t the target of the investigation.  Officers say Locke pointed a gun at them from underneath a blanket.
