Calling the culture strong and the mission moments powerful, surveyors from CARF International have given MRCI the highest accrediation possible as the organization moves forward. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
After a rigorous three-day visit, CARF surveyors noted, “MRCI demonstrated exemplary conformance to the standards. The organization produces outstanding business or clinical results that are innovative, creative and beneficial, and should be shared with the field.”
MRCI is grateful to have CARF recognize their efforts at transforming from a facility-based organization to one that is fully operational out in the community in just under a year.
“It is gratifying to hear the CARF surveyors recognize our efforts in using the opportunities of COVID 19 in a remarkable way,” says CEO Brian Benshoof. “In fact, since March 2020 when we had to stop services for 1,300 clients, we have rebuilt numerous programs and are now re-serving more than 1,000 individuals. We will be able to serve even more as staffing allows.”
