(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota House Democrats are announcing a plan today to ban what are known as “no-knock” raids. The announcement comes less than a week after the shooting death by Minneapolis police of Amir Locke during a search. Locke was not named in the no-knock warrant being served when he died. Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman will speak at the press conference this afternoon.
