(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota pharmacies are starting to receive N95 masks supplied by the U.S. government for free distribution. The Biden administration announced plans to distribute about 400-million of the masks through pharmacies and community health centers nationwide earlier this month. Those receiving the masks are limited to three per person. The masks are approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health to filter out 95-percent of particles in the air.
