(St. Paul, MN)  —  Jurors are hearing from first responders to the scene of George Floyd’s death as day three of the trial of three former Minneapolis police officers wraps up.  The first responders who tried to treat Floyd testified yesterday as prosecutors focused on the crucial minutes when he lost consciousness and the officers’ reactions to the situation.  The judge also ruled that Floyd’s girlfriend Courteney Ross could not testify.  He also ruled against a defense motion for a mistrial over questions from the state that they said went against pre-trial rules.  The officers are accused of violating Floyd’s civil rights at the time of his death. Testimony continues this morning.
