(Minneapolis, MN) — Allina Health is restricting visitor access to its hospitals. Officials say a surge in COVID cases led to the decision to move visitor status to red, from yellow. The move means patients won’t be able to have visitors for the foreseeable future except in very specific situations. Allina last entered red visitor status from November 2020 to January 2021.
