(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota medical facilities are suspending the use of two COVID-19 monoclonal antibody therapies. Medical professionals say they are not effect against the now dominant omicron variant. Officials say Omicron is widespread and is responsible for over 50-percent of new COVID-19 cases. Federal estimates say 92-percent of new COVID-19 cases in the Midwest region are caused by the omicron variant.
