(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Nurses Association is calling on state leaders for more resources to fight COVID-19. President Mary Turner says nurses are “losing the war” against COVID. Hospital beds across the state are becoming scarce, and many ICUs are full. Nurses with the MNA say staff shortages are common and they fear that the trend of more COVID cases and more deaths will continue well past the holiday season.
