— A script supervisor on the movie “Rust” is suing over the deadly shooting on the set of the film in New Mexico. Gloria Allred is representing Mamie Mitchell and the well-known attorney went after Alec Baldwin. Speaking to reporters, Allred said Baldwin isn’t guilty of simple negligence. Instead, she insisted Baldwin “played Russian roulette” when he fired the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The director of “Rust” was also injured in what happened last month.

— Tom Holland is questioning his future as Spider-Man. Speaking to GQ, he said it might be time for him to move on. He added he thinks it might be time executives do a Spider-Man film centered around Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker. Morales is the Black superhero introduced in the 2018 hit “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal said she’d be willing to do a hundred more movies with Holland as the lead.

— Meghan Markle is giving her first talk show interview since leaving the royal family. In a clip from Thursday’s Ellen DeGeneres show, the Duchess of Sussex looked back on her time as an actress before marrying Prince Harry. Markle said she went auditions at the same Warner Brothers lot where the show tapes. The former “Suits” actress recalled driving a “very old Ford Explorer” that she joked “had a life of its own,” then added “So to drive in today was very different.”

— Movie studio Miramax is suing Academy Award-winning director Quentin Tarantino over his plans to release non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, based on his 1994 film Pulp Fiction. Tarantino announced earlier this month that he plans to release seven NFTs, including scenes from an early script that were cut from the final version of the film. They’ll also feature Pulp Fiction art and commentary from Tarantino. Miramax says it’s in discussions about creating NFT partnerships based on its film library. The studio argues that Tarantino’s agreement devalues those plans.

— After the success of their James Bond theme, “No Time To Die,” Billie Eilish and FINNEAS are heading off to Pixar to help create a soundtrack for the upcoming movie, Turning Red. The dynamic Grammy-winning duo will be contributing three songs to the film, and a snippet of one is featured in the movie’s new trailer. Additionally, FINNEAS will be appearing in the movie voicing a member of Four*Town, a boyband that also includes Jordan Fisher, Grayson Villanueva, Josh Levi, and Topher Ngo. Four*Town’s songs were written by Eilish and FINNEAS.
