(Mankato, MN) — Two men are behind bars in connection to a knife assault in Mankato. Police say 54-year-old Thomas Geisler and 50-year-old Ronald Fairbanks were charged Wednesday for allegedly assaulting two people with a knife. According to reports, Fairbanks threatened to beat one victim and also claimed he would cut up the victim’s face. The second victim also says Geisler swung a knife over him several times. Both men now face felony counts of 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and threats of violence.
