It’s been a year of growth in North Mankato. North Mankato Mayor Mark Dehen says that growth will end up saving property owners money in next year’s budget.

“We’ve added 140-thousand dollars to the property tax roll this year, “ said Dehen. “Because of that, property taxes will be reduced by one percent in next year’s budget.”

Dehen says it will continue a several year trend of reducing property taxes in the community.
