(St. Paul, MN) — Investigators say one of the guns used in the deadly shooting at the Truck Bar in downtown Saint Paul may have been illegal. Investigators say Jerome Horton Junior recently bought dozens of handguns from Twin Cities stores. Investigators say Horton was often joined by a group of people when he bought the guns, which they say can be an indication of straw purchasing. One of the guns Horton bought was found at the scene of the Truck Bar shooting earlier this month. Horton’s charged with making a false statement while purchasing a gun.
